A Perfect Mind

Film and a live performance featuring Montreal musician, Amy Goldberg.

There will be a screening of the documentary “I’m Gone: A Film about Amy” by Julie Bourbonnais and Geneviève Philippon followed by a live performance by Amy’s band Waltz and guest band Mama’s Broke. The film looks at one woman’s personal take on living with addiction, her struggles as well as her breakthroughs. It also challenges stereotypes, while still creating a sense of hope, punctuated by the music. The evening will include refreshments and an arts & crafts sale. Proceeds will go to the Recovery Transition Program, an innovative peer support program developed within the MUHC Mental Health Mission that helps patients and their family find appropriate support and services in the community.
